[...] coat-like robe thing I got from Nagimama’s mama. It’s like the Maestro’s. This keeps the top part of me warm while the rest of me toasts nicely under a kotatsu. [...]

nagi has a kind of this robe(we call it HANTEN) too.
Small pink rabbit printed one. off cause her favorite.
(ha-ha-ha! I imagined you are wearing pink rabbit Hanten!)
You know, we have more bigger one in my grand-ma’s house.
Actually we put it under KAKE-FUTON.
The shape is really like same and longer.
But it’s little bit heavy…..I sometimes have nightmare…..

Thank you! I couldn’t remember what it was called! “纏” is so difficult to even see, there are so many strokes. It must be very tough to write

A complete stranger gave me one of these when I lived in Japan. I started up a conversation with her on the way home one night and I complimented her on how beautiful her “coat” was. When she got off the train, she gave it to me. Ahhhh one of those beautiful Japanese guestures!

Wow….I think the closest to that I’ve ever come (and maybe a bit strange) was sitting outside a building and a person came up to me eating Hagen Daaz, and asked me if I wanted some of his ice cream!
Is this Laura from Brazil? You lived in Japan? Where were you living?

Hehe some things you just don’t share with strangers hu?! Yes, I’m the one who called you about the C.D. I’m actually from Australia but I’ve been living in Brazil for 2 years. My class loved your songs by the way!
I lived in Japan when I was 15 as an exchange student. I was in a small city called Iida in Nagano ken. I loved it and have been dreaming about going back ever since.
