home

I keep meaning to post this picture because its become one of my favorites. I took it from my grandmother’s backyard when I was home this summer. Recently wind farms are popping up all over the island and I was pretty excited about seeing this one near her house. I’m not sure why I’m so fascinated by them but I do know I took far too many pictures of them this summer.
The fact that the first week of November in Tokyo was still warm enough for shorts and tees has me very worried, so the more of these the better if you ask me.

Hey Maestro! Wow, the new home looks great, and I’m liking the Boynton-esque bears. Yes, oddly warm weather these days. We’ll probably have snow in June. Yeeps, that’ll be no fun. Be good.

Thanks. After talking about her this morning, I was playing them over lunch today.
I ended up with some strange looking bears.

No need for hands if you make the one on the left play peekaboo the way the little ones play hide and seek. You know, close the eyes, because if I can’t see you, you can’t see me. Kid logic is the best.

Hey Troy,
What a great picture! Where’s the island home?

Hi Kim!
Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. Beautiful place. For the past 10 years I’ve been thinking I was a cityboy but I’m finding myself missing it a lot these days!
Where is home for you?
