Tat soi or tai goo or flat cabbage (or several variations of those names). Beautiful, isn’t it? It’s in the bok choy family (cousin, I think). Wash it well, then eat it raw in salads, lightly steamed, added to soup, stir-fried with soy sauce ‘n garlic ‘n ginger ‘n chile flakes, etc. Don’t let it hang around too long after you bought it.

Looks like it’s from the Sci-fi flick, “The Blob”. Watch out!
